The course will give you a a strong understanding of the Windows environment and the use of Windows applications, including word processing with Word 2002 for Windows, spreadsheets and database management systems as well as presentation graphics software and the Internet. The majority of teaching will be through seminars and lectures with many courses including laboratory-based computer exercises. Students are expected to undertake independent research and study at home and at the university.
